Poems are forthcoming in Windsor Review  in the autumn 2012,  and in the anthologies Poet on Poet (Guernica) and The Not Fogotten North  (Hidden Brook Press).

Poems have recently come out in  The Antigonish Review, Front Range, Carousel and the Nashwaak Review.

I will reading from  my two  new chapbooks,  Stories of  Snow and  Maya: Poems for the Summer Solstice  at the Vertigo series at Crave Kitchen and Wine Bar  in Regina on Monday March 12 at 7:30 p.m. The event will also be a celebration of Irving Layton’s birthday and I will  also read some poems from The Gucci Bag, a poetry collection  by  Layton that I reviewed for Newest Review in 1982.

A holm is a small island in a river. Whereas a chapbook is a short book of up to 30 pages, a literary holm is 10 or less pages.

A chapbook,  Maya: Poems for the Summer Solstice (Leaf Press) will be coming in  2012, and a holm “Stories of Snow” (Alfred Gustav Press) in the fall of 2011.  A poem came out in The Literary Review of Canada in August, and  another in The Antigonish Review this fall.  Two sonnets will be coming out in the filth issue  of The Windsor Review  in 2012. Also a poem “Aubade to the Aubergine: Eggplants for David” is forthcoming in an anthology  with the theme ‘Poets on poets’ published by Guernica Press next spring.
